"Being an artist is a deep and personal journey within ones own soul."

After studying architecture and design at one of the leading universities, Emilka had an initial career in graphic design which evolved into art direction for some of the world’s leading companies.

Emilka lost her job during the economic crash of 2010. Emilka started sketching historic buildings on cocktail napkins when she was with friends and people started buying her building illustrations. This moment of clarity gave her the confidence to start selling her artwork.

For the last several years Emilka has been illustrating historical buildings and landmarks around the US in her fun, colorful style. These illustrations have lead to people collecting her bespoke rang of home decor items, accent cushions and fine art.
